For three days, consider a Guilin arrival base followed by a Yangshuo stay, with luggage arrangements matched to the transfer. Around Yangshuo, a town hotel and a countryside hotel support different evenings and meal choices. Confirm road access, pickup points and the route to dinner rather than choosing solely from a room-view photograph.

Guilin Liangjiang International Airport uses KWL. Guilin Railway Station (桂林站), Guilin North (桂林北站), Guilin West (桂林西站) and Yangshuo Railway Station (阳朔站) are different arrivals. Match the exact ticket destination to the accommodation transfer rather than assuming every station gives access to the same city center.

The main Li River cruise connects departure piers outside central Guilin with an arrival in Yangshuo. Mopanshan (磨盘山码头) and Zhujiang (竹江码头) are departure names to read carefully. Use the exact pier on your booking and confirm the arrival pier, included transport and any meal arrangements.

A cruise, a shorter Li River boat or raft route and Yulong River rafting are different experiences. Check the full route before paying, including whether it is one way. Arrange what happens to your luggage and how you reach the hotel afterward instead of treating the arrival in Yangshuo as the end of the logistics.

Longji Rice Terraces (龙脊梯田) lie north of Guilin, away from the Yangshuo route. Compare a Longji day trip or overnight stay before adding it. Choose Ping’an or Jinkeng Dazhai and allow a full day from Guilin, with extra time for an overnight mountain stay.
