What to see & when to go

八仙纳福游园会 runs through Oct 7. The Eight Immortals parade is announced for Oct 1–3 during the National Day holiday; a music program is also listed for Oct 6. Performances and workshops follow separate schedules.

Our visit suggestion: Choose Oct 1–3 if the Eight Immortals parade is your main draw; confirm the day's start time before setting out. An evening visit also suits the lantern-lit lanes. Temple visits are a separate part of the outing.

Getting there

Can I enjoy it without speaking Chinese?
